The residences located at the corner of Olive and North Taylor in the Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis provide each tenant with a private entrance and outdoor space. These amenities are typically not found in the urban condition but provide a sense of ownership was acheived with suburbia. This was achieved by creating a seires of bar buildings that were then aggragated to created outdoor terraces on the roof tops. The units are broken up into four typologies; studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and live-work spaces and arranged on a 25ft by 25ft grid. The program for each unit is stacked vertically, essencially give each homeowner their own 25ft by 25ft plot.
